Electric Vehicle Charging Comes to Panorama
By: Cleve Pinnix | Thurston Climate Action Team EV Action Group

The Panorama retirement community in Lacey, which is home to approximately 1,250 people including many of our TCAT community members, has taken a big step forward to encourage residents to transition to drive electric. Ten newly installed Level 2 (240V) charging stations for Electric Vehicles (EVs) are now located near two of the apartment buildings on campus. This action lowers the barrier to switching to EV ownership for those residents living in apartments, as well as providing other residents nearby an incentive to make the move to an EV. Panorama’s growing number of EV owners are looking forward to welcoming others to their ranks.
