Tuesday, March 21st, 2023 | 7:00 pm | Via Zoom

My story of building an eco-friendly sustainable small home. Presented by Marianne Tompkins
Marianne is a lifelong resident of the greater Puget Sound area, and currently resides in Olympia WA. She is passionate about caring for the environment, helping those in need and supporting organizations that fight for justice and equality. In her professional and personal life, she promotes organic land care. She believes we depend on nature for our physical and emotional well-being, so we need to take care of nature. She strongly feels we have a responsibility to be good neighbors in our communities by making conscientious choices that benefit the Earth, in turn leaving behind a healthy and livable planet for our children. Marianne is a member of Zonta of South Puget Sound, a certified Landscapes for Life instructor, a Wildlife Habitat Steward, a Climate Reality Leader, and has been a NODA (No One Dies Alone) volunteer with Providence Hospital— before a pause due to COVID.
