Interested in monitoring microplastics around Puget Sound?
Looking for a meaningful way to give back to the environment and contribute to scientific research? DERT could use your help! We are looking for a few dedicated volunteers to receive a training on microplastics sediment sampling for a upcoming study.
The training will be provided by Puget SoundKeeper, a respected environmental organization dedicated to protecting the health of the Puget Sound, on May 20th from 11 AM to 3 PM in Seattle, WA, and DERT will cover all of the travel expenses.
The volunteers who complete the training will work with DERT to conduct a microplastics survey in our area over the summer.
