  • Learn about the science and possible solutions of climate change, based on Project Drawdown, a solutions-based book and movement.
  • Learn about and discuss how we can support youth to activate their climate learning.
  • Amplify school, college and community-based best practices to secure a clean energy future.

NOTE: The program starts at 11:30 – students taking the PSAT’s, join us when you’re done!

Our local YECO site will join many others around the globe, including a site at Cambridge University and a youth gathering in Kenya. Thurston County and WA’s leadership will be highlighted! Then, we will break into working groups according to interest areas and networks.

Stew Henderson and Derek Hoshiko will launch the 90 Day Climate Action Teams at the same location, from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.

After our network and strategy prioritization sessions, YECO and the 90 Day Climate Action Teams will gather together in the same building that day. We will jointly share progress made and have a celebration from 3:30-4:00.
