Join long-time forest lover and environmental educator, Kathy Jacobson, to bathe in the forest atmosphere of Burfoot County Park. “Shinrin-yoku” is a Japanese term which means “taking in the forest atmosphere”. We will use five senses to experience the forest. For meet up directions please register.
This event is free (or free will offering encouraged) to a maximum of 15 participants. Register to save your space. It is suitable for children over 14 and no pets please. Dress warmly will be a short leisurely stroll through the forest.
1/4 mile walk into Burfoot Park. Learn the ancient Japanese practice of forest bathing. Using all 5 senses have a deeply meditative experience of the forest with an experienced leader. Known health and mental health benefits.
